Changes to episodes pages[]
i think that we should stop putting in the title sequences for each episode... if people can view that, then what's the point of buying the DVD off of the red green website? S & S might take away the rights to do this wikipedia... i hope not
- I got a message on my talk page saying the same thing as well - that transcripts are not a good idea. In the original permission request (which S&S granted), I mentioned that we might do full transcripts of the episodes, though I didn't know for sure at the time if we would attempt to do that. (That was partially because I wasn't sure how the transcripts would actually work out given the length of each episode.)
- The main reason I think transcripts are valuable is so that we don't end up having just a collection of trivia on each episode. Without context, the trivia might seem meaningless. However, if people feel strongly enough that transcribing episodes detracts from the value of the published media, we'll go ahead and take them out. The last thing we want to do on this wiki is to hurt S&S in any way. — KieferSkunk (talk) — 18:08, February 12, 2010 (UTC)
