Possum Lake's only Reverend leaves town, so all church activities are transferred to Possum Lodge with the usual disastrous results.

Plot: Red learns that the church in town has closed because the Reverend has left. So Red tries to find a new replacement Reverend by placing ads in the paper, and getting some likely prospects, too, while Harold decides to transfer all church activities to the lodge. At one point, Harold has his Boy Scout meetings transferred to the lodge. At another point, as per local bylaws with the church closed, Harold has dance meetings moved the lodge as well, along with a model airplane club. Eventually, however, Red learns that the Reverend could not get another job and so returns to the church in town. As Harold learns, it is just in time, too.
