Buzz Sherwood (Peter Wildman) is Possum Lake's bush pilot. He is a renowned hippie, always wearing a bright tie-dye shirt, and he has a wild and unrestrained personality, often preferring to take risks instead of exercising caution when he should. He claims that he has been flying since "[his] very first Iron Butterfly concert". In one episode, however, he mentions that his license is suspended (though this doesn't appear to stop him from flying). He flies a turboprop plane named "Beauty", and at one point he installs radio controls into the plane so he can fly it remotely.
Buzz was a series regular from 1993 to 1997 and later returned for an anniversary special.
