Bob Stuyvesant
Bob Stuyvesant (Bruce Hunter) works for the Department of Natural Resources, though he is obsessed with golf and is almost always found at the local golf course when he really should be working. Red frequently visits him on the course to ask him questions, sometimes interfering with his games in the process. Bob, who is normally pretty calm, is prone to occasional fits of rage in which he throws, bends or otherwise destroys his golf clubs, particularly when he misses shots or gets stuck in sand traps.
Bob was a regular guest star on the series during the early years but vanished after the show was picked up by the CBC. He made one last appearance in an anniversary special.
