Plot: Red and Harold announce plans for the lodge to procure government funding by creating an enclosed environment in which it covers itself over with plastic. However, no one wants to officially commit to the project yet. Harold does not think anybody participating will take all that they'll need, but Red is unconcerned. But when everyone learns that everyone must remain in the biosphere for at least two years, they back out.

Handyman Corner: Red shows various uses for a stepladder.
The Experts: Hap explains how computers work, by way of Morse code, which he had used in World War II.

- During the closing credits, Mark Wilson (Glen Brachston), Bruce Hunter (Bob Stuyvesant) and Ian Thomas (Dougie Franklin) are seen at the Lodge Meeting, but they have no lines and are uncredited for this episode.
