DVD Commentary by Steve Smith[]

{from Stuffed and Mounted}

STEVE SMITH: Ever since we started doing "The Red Green Show", {points out the location around him} we've used this location. It's a farm in Ontario, belongs to a great gentleman named Don Nash. And, uh, {points out the shacks behind him} we've made these shacks, uh, kind of famous. But once in a while, we get to the real part of the farm where he lives. And it happens in this episode. We've actually used– That's Don Nash's garage you're about to see, but we've converted it into a car wash.

Plot: The men of the lodge challenge rival Caribou Lodge to a blood donor competition. The other lodge accepts the challenge, much to Red's dismay, and Harold manages to convince Red to take part. Red faints after they take "too much blood" (one drop), but when he learns that Caribou Lodge is still beating them, he raises the stakes by including organ donations. Red and Harold then head to the clinic, even though Harold has already donated. In the end, Harold single-handedly beats the rival lodge, but he's so woozy and disoriented that he doesn't quite make it to the lodge meeting.
